This notice explains what personal data Springforest collects when you visit this website or use our platform, why we collect it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, work email address and organisation when you are invited to a workspace.
- Platform content — maps, surveys, photographs and notes that you or your colleagues upload.
- Technical data — server logs containing IP addresses and browser information, kept for up to 30 days for security purposes.
How we use it
We use personal data to provide and secure the service, to respond to enquiries and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Customer data is stored and processed in data centres located in the United Kingdom and is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
Account and platform data is kept for as long as your organisation has an active subscription, and deleted within 90 days of the subscription ending unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The platform sets a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact your workspace administrator or write to us at privacy@springforest.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
